The WCSJ 2025 will offer a diverse programme of keynote speeches, plenaries, parallel sessions and workshops, covering a range of topics. The programme will also include day trips and longer options to explore South Africa’s science initiatives.

The World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ) will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria, South Africa from 1 – 5 December 2025, with the theme “Science Journalism and Social Justice – our role in promoting resilience”.
