The University of Cape Town’s Faculty of Science invites you to an exclusive research tour highlighting some of our most innovative research hubs. The programme begins with presentations from the AI Initiative, MASHA, ACDI, SEEC, and the FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology, offering firsthand insights into their pioneering work, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
Afterwards, enjoy on-campus lab visits to the Inter-University Institute for Data-Intensive Astronomy (IDIA), the POLAR Lab, and the Bolus Herbarium. Explore the remarkable range of UCT’s research, from cutting-edge, data-driven astronomy to the conservation of South Africa’s unique botanical heritage.
