The WCSJ2025 will take place from 1–5 December in Tshwane, South Africa, bringing together science journalists, editors, communicators, and thought leaders from across the globe.

We are inviting expressions of interest from organisations who would like to sponsor and host a pre- or post-conference workshop — an ideal opportunity to spotlight key themes, showcase initiatives, and connect directly with a targeted audience.

Pre and post-conference workshop sponsorship

From USD 7,500 for 15 participants upward
(Plus one travel grant @ USD 3,000 per five attendees)

Workshop sponsor benefits include:

• The opportunity to host a workshop for between 10 and 400 participants at the CSIR ICC
• Six slots available on Monday, 1 December, and six on Friday, 5 December 2025
• Marketing and registration support through official WCSJ2025 communication channels
• Venue, audio-visual equipment, refreshments, and lunch for attendees included
• High visibility and engagement with a global audience of science communicators

Sponsors are responsible for covering travel and accommodation for speakers.
