This strong showing reflects the energy, diversity, and creativity of the international science journalism and communication community. The programme committee now begins the exciting task of reviewing these proposals to shape a dynamic and thought-provoking conference agenda.

WCSJ2025 will take place in Pretoria, South Africa, from 1 to 5 December 2025 under the theme Science journalism and social justice: journalism that builds understanding and resilience. The conference promises to bring together journalists, communicators, researchers, and policymakers for an engaging and impactful exchange of ideas.
